“You know.. Sometimes, this makes me regret living on the third floor,” Gayoon quickly said with a breath as she turned her head a bit. Due to an ear bud in her right ear, she had to accommodate listening to her new roommate by turning; which didn’t result when when they had to ascend up stairs.
“It took you long enough to move in though– I originally intended to live alone unless Hakyeon wanted to move in with, and then… Well, you!” she chirped with a large grin, stumbling a bit over the last step getting onto the correct floor. Unfortunately, Gayoon had decided she was a “big girl” and could carry more than one box up. She absolutely insisted on it, actually. Which led to a pile of three boxes that nearly blocked her sight from anything that wasn’t left or right. Genius, right?
With the door unlocked, Gayoon pushed the door open and attempted to gently place the boxes onto the ground– but resulted in failure as a heavy thud followed with the drop of the boxes. Clearing her throat, she hoped Hyuna wasn’t right behind her to hear it. But as the woman stood, she felt a slight pain in her lower back– as well as a flame in her thighs. Gayoon’s face contorted as she took a few steps forward, which only elicited a pained groan.
“Remind me to not ever do such a thing– again– I regret that,” muttered the tired woman as she lazily made her way to the couch. Flopping onto it, she felt the couch bounce a bit as she landed on it– and proceeded to place her other ear bud into her ear. Casually humming along the song she began to mutter the lyrics, wanting her to rest. It only took several trips of carrying multiple boxes for her body to ache– and that was when Gayoon knew she had to get back into shape.
“Let’s get back into shape together, Hyunaaaaa,” Gayoon sang, which followed with, “naman mollasseotdeon somethiiiiingg~”
